Coming Out of Covid by Heather Kennedy

Coming Out of Covid (detail) by Heather Kennedy, 2020
Overview
This painting tells the story of everyone surviving and coming out of lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic. The painting captures the joy of everyone happy to see each other again, to reconnect with family and getting outside your 5km radius. The overall design represents our families and community. The colours and butterfly represent happiness and relief and freedom felt when restrictions eased.
