Kylie Orr on the Publishing Process (Free Workshop)

Kylie Orr will be discussing the publishing process, sharing how she secured a two-book deal with Harper Collins.

Working as a freelance writer for over 15 years, Kylie’s articles have appeared in The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, 9Honey and Kidspot amongst others.

Her debut novel Someone Else’s Child won the Dymocks/Fiona McIntosh Commercial Fiction Masterclass scholarship and was longlisted in the Richell Prize, the MsLexia International Novel Competition and commended in the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards.

Kylie loves to explore the darker side of humanity, focusing on broader women’s issues such as motherhood, inequality and the challenges of society’s expectations.

Hear Kylie’s firsthand process for how she went about securing a two-book deal with HarperCollins. This is a wonderful opportunity to ask all those burning questions you have about this often mystical and bewildering process.
