Mornington Peninsula Creative Festival – Expression of Interest

Expression Of Interest - Program Call Out

Mornington Peninsula Shire is developing a brand new, 11 day annual creative art and culture festival, with the inaugural festival delivered in Autumn 2022. Dates are from Thursday 21st April – Sunday 1st May.

We take pride in our community because it is diverse, creative and active in many different ways. This multi-arts festival aims to showcase the best of the region’s creative community and places,  embracing music, performance, theatre, dance, visual art exhibitions, film, public art installations, multimedia and projections, writing and literature and food and wine events.

Festivals provide opportunities for participation in cultural life, they provide opportunities for gathering and celebration, enriching individuals and communities. A key component of this festival model is community-led, encouraging participation and promoting a sense of belonging and ownership.

If you are an artist, venue, gallery, arts organisation or creative practitioner that would like to be involved and promoted as part of this new festival, please fill out the following expression of interest.  A member of our Festivals and Events team will be in touch with you shortly.

If you have any questions, please contact Events Marketing Officer, Kym Griffiths at : kym.griffiths@mornpen.vic.gov.au
