Domino Conspiracy
Domino Conspiracy is a Mornington Peninsula based trio performing Blues, Roots, R & B and Rock ‘n Roll covers and original music in these genres.
The theme of our songbook is “Love, life and money”.
The band’s name derives from Fats Domino and our conspiracy to play great music for dancing and listening.
The Band's line-up includes
John “Smacka” Nolan - guitars and vocals
Tim “Schooner” Dewhurst - bass guitar and vocals
David “Hambone” Hansen _drums and vocals
This line-up has a collective live music experience spanning many decades and three continents, including performing at clubs, pubs, breweries, festivals and private functions such as birthdays, Christmas, New Years and other special occasion functions.
Our music is influenced by American Blues, Roots and Rock ‘n Roll and by artists such as BB King, JJ Cale, Bo Diddley, Fats Domino, Ray Charles, The Rolling Stones, Big Joe Turner, Chuck Berry, the Blues Brothers, Steely Dan, Dion, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Carl Perkins, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Johnny Rivers, the Searchers, Wilson Pickett and Elvis Presley and more.
Domino Conspiracy has performed at various festivals, including City of Frankston Live & Local, Mornington Summer Music Festival 'Street-Beats', Mornington Winter Music, Main Street Mornington Festival and The Basin Music Festival.
Over the years the Band has played at the Rosebud RSL, Dandenong Club, The Tar barrel and recently performed in the Battle of the Bands held at Soundbar, Capel Sound and the Wildness in Frankston.
