Meet our ACAP Members
The Mornington Peninsula Shire values the significant contribution that the arts and cultural sector makes to the region. An Arts and Culture Advisory Panel (ACAP) works with Council to help shape priorities and direction and to identify opportunities to grow and promote arts and culture across all of the Mornington Peninsula.
Membership
Members of the ACAP are drawn from diverse range of backgrounds and have extensive knowledge and experience.
Membership of the Panel is comprised of a Councillor Representative and Substitute Councillor Representative, Shire Officers and community and industry representatives who meet at least four times annually.

Meet our creatives
Annie Pepper - Co-founder of Alchemy Socials, a local creative agency, Annie is passionate about visual storytelling, community, and culture. She is dedicated to championing the creative talent of the Mornington Peninsula, bringing a fresh, youthful perspective and a strong commitment to fostering vibrant cultural engagement across the region.
Chloe Guymer - An emerging local artist and BFA graduate, Chloe specialises in oil painting, murals, and photography. With classical training and over a decade of arts volunteering, she actively promotes regional culture through grassroots public art and community engagement. Her work reflects a deep commitment to strengthening and expanding local arts initiatives.
Dave Walker - With a career spanning across the music and creative industries since 1996, Dave is a multifaceted creative professional. As the Studio Manager at Capel Sound Studios, he is also a musician, studio engineer, producer, tour manager, educator, and arts administrator. His extensive experience continues to shape and support the creative landscape of the Mornington Peninsula.
Debbie Mackenzie - With a background in Graphic Design and advertising, Debbie transitioned into the world of fine art, quickly gaining recognition as a dynamic emerging artist. She has since been featured in numerous sell-out solo and group exhibitions, establishing a strong presence in the contemporary art scene.
Jo Lane - An accomplished artist with a Master of Arts degree, Jo’s work explores deeply human qualities through an empathetic and cathartic lens. She has exhibited extensively and has been selected for numerous drawing and sculpture awards across Australia and the UK.
Jonty Reason - An actor, director, author, and theatre maker with nearly four decades of experience in Australia and Europe, Jonty is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Mornington Peninsula Theatre Company. He leads touring classical theatre productions across the region and is currently working on two debut novels.
Kim Worby - An artist with a deep affinity for trees and the landscape, Kim expresses this connection through drawing and painting. As Gallery Coordinator and committee member at Oak Hill Gallery, she is a dedicated advocate for arts and creativity, helping to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive local arts community through exhibitions, classes, and events.
Tracee Hutchison - A pioneering broadcaster, journalist, author, filmmaker and creative industries leader, Tracee has shaped Australian media over a 40-year career in radio and television from TripleJ, to ABC TV and 3RRR. A passionate social justice, community and environmental advocate, Tracee is currently Chair of Green Music Australia.
