Hazel Tones

Hazel Tones is a contemporary chamber music duo consisting of two flautists, Hayley Irving and Kate Makrikostas.

We cover a range of popular hits by artists including Coldplay, Taylor Swift, and The Cranberries.

Many of our arrangements are inspired by the Bridgerton soundtrack (for any fans out there!), and we love adding a little bit of classical flair to modern music.

Many of our arrangements are augmented through the use of loop pedals.

None of our arrangements use backing tracks, so we create loops live to layer harmonies, chords, and other accompaniment so that we can create fuller, richer arrangements.

Our use of loop pedals allows us to offer the sound of up to six live musicians for the price of two! Hazel Tones endeavour to offer a unique and inspired addition to the world of classical instrumental entertainment, for music festivals, wedding ceremonies, art galleries, wineries, and the like.
