Mornington Peninsula Films – ‘Homeless in Paradise’ – a short document

 

Funding Amount: $10,000

 In partnership with Mornington Community Support Centre, ‘Homeless in Paradise’ is a 6-minute documentary that tells three different stories about people that came to be without a home.  The documentary will invite the viewer to meet the people and hear their stories and aims to reduce stigmas and stereotypes, and educate that homelessness is increasing. 

The documentary will be entered into short film festivals around the world, including Amnesty International Film Festival in France and the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival held in Australia and globally. The documentary will also be submitted to the Peninsula Film Festival, will be hosted on its own website and promoted at community screenings.
