The Cow People and Play For Youth are two exciting theatre projects that involved an ensemble of 25 young members from leading Peninsula based Theatre Company, Dreamhouse.  The ensemble developed theatre skills and performance outcomes under the mentorship of highly skilled professional performing arts practitioners from the Mornington Peninsula and beyond.

The Cow People inspired by iconic Gary Larsen cartoons, is a whimsical and visually arresting street theatre performance, utilising physical theatre skills, mask and voice. What happens when a heard of two legged cows are let loose onto Peninsula streets, parks and shopping precincts? Humorous, spontaneous and touching, Cow People surprised and delighted.

Play For Youth is a text-based theatre work that re-imagines one or more contemporary Australian plays, through the intersection of powerful embodied acting and stunning set, costume, sound and lighting design. A memorable magic realist style work, that enthralled young and old.
