Salt of the Peninsula – Mornington Peninsula Surfboard Museum

Salt of the Peninsula podcast features local surfboard manufacturers and Mornington Peninsula surfing icons from the 1960/70's up to 1990's. This project involves the board builders creating a replica of their board and have a mobile museum of one board per interviewee (surfboard builder).

Manufacturers to start the project were the Trigger Brothers, Mick Pierce Surfboards, Balin Surfboards, Steve Freidman Surboards, Oke Surfboards and Parkinson Surfboards. A mobile rack would be built and used for safety of the surfboards when being viewed by the public.
