Suzi will record, mix and master her debut album in November 2024 at Capel Sound Studios. The album will be the next step in the evolution of her project following Suzi’s acclaimed 2023 EP ‘I Hope You Can Hear Me Now’ and will build on extensive media support (triple j, NME, Guitar Mag) and her highly engaged audience which she has curated over the past four years. Written during a Mornington Peninsula awarded residency at Police Point, the album is a vulnerable and honest reflection of Suzi’s experiences as a queer artist living with depression and PTSD, claiming her space and looking towards the future.

This grant funding will support producing, mixing and Capel Sound Studios hire, as well as paying session musicians.
