Salt Of The Peninsula Mobile Museum is a community-led surfboard museum which received funding in the 23/24 round of grants for the creation of 7 surfboards from local makers to celebrate the history and heritage of surfing on the Peninsula. With this new funding, 6 more boards will be added to the museum. On completion of the new boards, there will be a larger exhibition with all surfboards and their builders, as well as speakers on the podcast ‘Salt Of The Peninsula’ which is currently at 35,700 downloads.

This grant funding will support the creation of 6 new surfboards for the mobile museum.
