‘Wildflowers in Concrete’ will be an original album exploring the joys, challenges, and unwavering love of motherhood through the lens of music & poetry. It includes the recording of 11 new songs for HAZEL & The Thief’s ‘Debut Album’ followed by a live album launch concert, featuring three local musicians who are not musical powerhouses, but also mothers, as well as two female local poets who will present works related to motherhood.

This grant funding will support the studio engineering of this album.
