The Ranch Documentary: Roll-Out/Community Engagement–Balnarring PS

Mornington Community Support Centre (MCSC) and Peninsula Films partnered to make a documentary film, The Ranch, about the homelessness crisis. With the response to the film exceeding expectations, Peninsula Films will create a 10-minute cutdown to quickly engage people with the issue which is more appropriate in certain settings, such as schools. Peninsula Films want to engage a broader audience by hosting the film on the website and providing information about the issue and advocacy tools. Peninsula Films will also make the film more accessible by including sub-titles and closed captions and want to share the film with international and national audiences at film festivals.

This grant funding will support creating the 10-minute version, hearing impaired accessibility, sub-titles, marketing, website design and hosting, festival submissions and translations.
