This is a Watercolour workshop designed specifically for beginners to intermediate painters.

During this workshop, we will focus on painting an adorable fairy penguin. To make things easier and more enjoyable, the initial sketch will already be drawn on the watercolour paper, allowing you to dive straight into the painting process without the stress of prepping. You will be guided step-by-step through the painting, demonstrating each layer before you paint your own. By the end of the day, you will leave with a beautiful, completed artwork of a fairy penguin.

Nicole Barros is a wildlife artist whose artistic journey spans over three decades. Nicole has truly dedicated her life to capturing the breathtaking beauty of wildlife, a passion that resonates deeply in her work.

Drawing from her rich education at the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney, where she was fortunate to learn from exceptional mentors, Nicole has honed her skills in watercolours, graphite, and coloured pencils. Recently, she has revitalised her artistic expression through acrylics and oils, adding exciting new dimensions to her creations.

Nicole takes great joy in teaching, she often showcases her talent through her weekly art classes, workshops and demonstrations at various art societies and art shows.
