Mindful Stitching with Ashley Mariani

Come along to this CREATE workshop where participants will learn approx 6 basic stitches and then create a unique piece of mindful stitching art.

 

Run by local artist Ashley Mariani @thingsifeltlikemaking, the concepts of mindfulness, meditative stitching and slowing down will be discussed

The skills you will learn can cross over into mending.

All materials will be provided, including embroidery thread, needles, and fabric. Participants will take home a kitty that includes these materials as well as a quilted needle book, as a gift, made by the instructor.

This workshop is suitable for adults.
