CREATE presents. … Create a miniature artwork with Tinky!

Cost: $20 pp

In this exciting workshop, participants will learn how to create a ‘broken eggshell’ artwork with miniature figurines.

Each person will receive their own pre-prepared packet of artificial landscape material to use. A variety of glue types and scatter materials will be available on tables to share among the group.

Materials included: artificial landscape (scatter grass, soil, flowers, shrubs, etc), eggshells, glue, base for artwork, miniature figurines.

Age group: Adult (or 16+)

Tinky's art practice focuses on creating tiny sculptural installations, assembling vintage or found objects with miniature characters and a humorous narrative. Career highlights include being a feature artist at the Biennale of Australian Art (2018) and as an § Artist-in-residence at Carey Grammar as part of Harvard University’s Transformative Repair research initiative with Project Zero (2022-present).

Bookings open Monday 29 September.

 

CREATE is an innovative creative workshop program run by Mornington Peninsula Shire Arts and Culture to provide low-cost workshops for the local community to engage with the arts.
