Artists wanted to design artworks for new Library Lockers

Library Lockers Public Art Opportunity

Mornington Peninsula Shire invites expressions of interest from local visual artists with graphic design expertise to create two temporary public artworks for new Library Lockers at Balnarring Community Hall and Tounnin Wominjeka Youth Hub in Rosebud.

The commissioned artworks will celebrate libraries, reading and community connection, responding creatively to the character and setting of each site. Artists may apply for one or both locker designs, with selected artworks digitally printed onto vinyl and installed by the Shire.

This commission offers an artist fee of $750 (ex GST) per design, with fabrication, installation, project management and marketing provided by Mornington Peninsula Shire.
