Public Art opportunity: Art on the Move

Mornington Peninsula Shire is seeking an artist to design artwork for 36 waste trucks, to remain in use for up to 10 years.

The design should reflect key waste and environmental messages relevant to the Mornington Peninsula, including recycling, hazardous waste, and organic waste management. Artists with a connection to the Peninsula are preferred.

Eligibility:

Open to artists based in Greater Melbourne.

Scope:

* Final artwork format to be supplied as vector graphics.

• Artwork will be displayed on waste trucks for up to 10 years.

• Artists are encouraged to creatively interpret themes such as recycling, hazardous waste, and food/green waste.

• Reference materials provided; final messaging to be confirmed with the successful artist.
