Liwik Biik represents the journey across Kulin country with hands of acknowledging Bundjil’s lore. The fine lines symbolise the bloodlines and veins of our ancestors still living in us and guiding us on our journey, The white river connects our spirit to our community and place if we are not physically there and we carry knowledge to share with others on liwik biik (ancestors country).

Cassie Leatham is a Wurundjeri/Taungurung woman and an artist and workshop facilitator at Baluk Arts.
