Music Production Fundamentals off to a strong start

Our new Music Production Fundamentals program kicked off on Tuesday 5 August, giving eight community members a rare chance to access professional studio learning at no cost. Designed for those who might not usually have the resources or opportunities to explore music production, this 6-month course is part of the Make Music Matter initiative, supporting and celebrating local music makers.

Delivered by Capel Sound Studios in partnership with Mornington Peninsula Shire, the program offers a hands-on, structured learning experience to build technical skills and creative confidence in music production.

We were thrilled by the response — over 45 applications from people aged 11 to 73 — showing just how much passion for music exists across our community. We can’t wait to see what our participants create.
