"Mentoring has been a wonderful experience of sharing and growth, with benefits to the mentee and the mentor. Working with my mentee in the Young Creators program was a lovely opportunity to share knowledge, encourage exploration and growth, to foster professionalism, and to have a good time. My mentee and I are still in contact, and have a great relationship. I’m very proud of her and feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to give back in this way. The Shire did an excellent job of matching us, outlining expectations, and following up. I fully support the continuation of this program and would certainly mentor again." - Rose Agnew, 2023 mentor
